Camp Tinaroo


Camp Tinaroo is situated on a bush covered peninsula jutting into Lack Tinaroo on the Atherton Tablelands, just one hour and fifteen minutes west of Cairns.

At Camp Tinaroo we have a wide variety of bird and animal life in very peaceful surrounds.
   


We have dormitory style accommodation with 82 beds, 4 leader's rooms and a cook's quarters. B.Y.O bedding.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering or catering can be arranged.




Onsite facilities include
  • beach volley ball court,
  • sporting oval for football/cricket,
  • basketball court,
  • orienteering course,
  • undercover bbq/picnic area,
  • 2 canoes,
  • table tennis,
  • fishing/swimming
  • bushwalking
  • and a conference hall equipped with radio microphones, speakers, whiteboard, 100 seats and stage area, overhead projector, television/video player & a blue phone.
